Let’s talk about self-esteem—but not the kind that depends on compliments, likes, or approval. I’m talking about Sacred Self-Esteem—the kind that comes from intuitive clarity and deep trust in yourself.
This level of self-esteem sustains your health. It’s not loud, performative, or attention-seeking. It’s the quiet, unwavering confidence that comes when you know your inner voice is guiding you—and you listen.
Because here’s the truth: if you can’t trust yourself, you can’t truly trust life. Truly great lives are lived by those who can surrender to the unknown with confidence.
We are in a time of great discovery—a collective awakening to our quantum power. We used to think of ourselves as five-sensory beings, but we are now realizing we are multi-sensory beings, capable of perceiving life far beyond our physical senses. We are going from fossil fuels to solar power in our own human energy structure,
Real self-esteem grows as you become more sensitive to your power and begin to hold yourself accountable to it.
There’s a beautiful word, charism—it means the grace that only your soul carries. It’s your unique tone and frequency. When you begin to get curious about that frequency—your soul’s unique vibration—you start to feel your sacred self-esteem strengthening. You begin to live in a state of flow rather than fear, in authenticity rather than seeking approval.
Most people don't listen to their Soul's quiet whisperings because they fear what others will think. They fear public failure or humiliation; they fear people not liking the way they've changed.
You will never have true self-esteem if your fear of what others think is louder than your commitment to listen to your Soul, regardless of logic and reason.
A Little Story
The other day, I was on a walk in my neighborhood when I saw a handmade doll lying face down on the cross street, not the street I was crossing. I kept walking at first, but halfway through the intersection, I felt a nudge: Go back. Pick it up. Put it somewhere safe in case the child who lost it comes looking.
Then another thought came—What will the people in the car waiting for me to cross think if I turn around mid-intersection to go back and pick up a doll off the street?
For a split second, I almost ignored my intuition because I worried about how it might look.
But then I caught myself. Why should I care what strangers—people I’ll never see again—might think? So I turned around, picked up the doll off the street, and gently placed it upright beside a tree.
That small act reminded me what Sacred Self-Esteem really is. It’s trusting your higher self more than the imagined opinions of others. And the thing is, most of the time, no one is paying attention to what you're doing anyway. The only one who’s truly paying attention is you—and your soul is always guiding you toward alignment, patiently waiting for you to have the self-esteem to act on the guidance.
Why It Matters
Every time you ignore your intuition, you create resistance—disconnection, stagnation, even illness. But every time you follow that quiet inner voice, even when it doesn’t make logical sense, you open the flow of life. You show LIFE that you're listening and can take direction, even when you don't see how it matters to you. In the case of the doll, I allowed life to move through me so a child wouldn't be saddened by returning to a doll that had been run over by a car. The act itself made no difference for me personally (I didn't do it for me, I did it for the child), but my willingness to just listen and obey my still small voice, makes all the difference for me.
This is the kind of self-esteem the world needs now. It's not the kind that looks good—it’s the kind that feels true. The kind that connects you to your power and helps you live with grace, peace, and authenticity ~ So that you may be a blessing to others.
Cultivating Sacred Self-Esteem
Here are a few ways to begin:
Notice how you interact with others—especially when you’re angry. Your reaction in those moments reveals how you truly esteem yourself.
Pay attention to your triggers—they show you where you’ve stepped out of alignment with your soul.
Notice when you’re seeking approval. Ask yourself: Am I choosing this because it feels right, or because I want someone’s validation?
Remember—your soul never gets angry. It simply invites you to realign.
Sacred self-esteem begins when you stop outsourcing your worth and start listening—deeply—to your higher knowing ~ and then ~ act on the guidance.
